What is the Dish Head(end)?

Dish Head(end) is also called Torispherical heads, consists of a spherical surface, a straightedge of cylinder at a certain height, and a transition section for connecting two sections above. The Dish Head(end) is a continuous surface. The curvature radius of warp has a mutation in the connection of three parts and produces the bending stress.

The stress of this part stands out from other parts due to the superposition of bending stress and stretching stress.Compared with the Elliptical Head, the stress distribution is not as uniform as it is, but the processing is easier,so the application is not ideal in project.Dish Head(end)will be used instead ,When the Elliptical Head mold processing is difficult.
